Custom Cutout Materials
Corrugated Cardboard
Corrugated cardboard is a paper-based material consisting of a fluted corrugated sheet and two flat linerboards. It is widely used in the manufacturing process of signs and advertisements.
Foamcore
Foam core boards are made from polystyrene extruded foam laminated between two sheets of paper to form a lightweight but strong and rigid surface. Foam corer has a smooth surface great for a beautiful print. Sheets are warp-resistant and dent-resistant.
Water Proof Plastic
Waterproof plastic is a tough, waterproof, corrugated plastic sign material which resembles the appearance of “plastic cardboard”. The hollow-fluted design of Waterproof Plastic makes this material extremely lightweight, easy to handle and simple to display in a number of ways. The lightweight properties of waterproof plastic have made it a popular alternative to rigid Acrylic Plastic materials and PVC Plastic materials. The waterproof plastic material is also commonly preferred over poster board and foam core mounting board. Foam core is not waterproof and the surface is much more sensitive to damage than corrugated plastic.
Who do i make my checks payable to? All checks are to be made payable to AutoGraphix. Checks should be mailed to 81 Waller Street, Wilkes Barre, PA 18702. Production of your order will not begin until your check has cleared and we have received artwork.
Can I cancel my order? All orders are binding contracts and are legal Cancel requests can be placed at anytime of the order production process. But your refund depends on which point of the process you are at. Orders canceled within 24 hours that have not been processed will receive a full refund All orders canceled after the 24hour window or once they have been processed and work has not been started, will be refunded, minus a $5 or a 3% fee whichever is greater. What is your return policy? Due to the fact that each order is custom, we do not accept returns. In the event that there is a manufacturing defect, we must be notified within 48 hours of the delivery. Defects will be dealt with at our discretion as a reprint, store credit, or refund. Defects are not the same things as shipping damages, and orders will not be refunded due to damages caused by shipping. A reprint or store credit will be issued for all damages
My cutout was delivered cracked or damaged, what do i do? If cutout is lost or broken, you MUST contact us within 24 hours of the confirmed delivery time. Keep all damaged product and packaging, UPS will pick up the damaged product. Photo proof of damages may be required to expedite the claim process. Without the original item and packaging, we cannot file a claim, and refunds and reissues will not be granted. All losses or damages outside the 24 hour window are not our responsibility. In the event that the damaged item is not returned by the customer, the customer will be charged for the reissue or will not receive the refund.
I am unsatisfied with my cutout, I want my money back! We will tell you if your photo will be a problem when we get it. If we suspect any problems with its quality, we will not print it. If you insist that it be used, we will need either written permission or a verbal ok to start the cutout. Remember, a verbal approval is a binding contact. We are not responsible for the quality of your photos. If it’s blurry or doesn’t look that great at 4"x6" or on a computer screen, our magic wands cannot make it look better at 6' tall. Some photos just cannot be repaired. I didn't get my cutout on time. What do i do? Shipping time requested and purchased is not guaranteed by Life Size Custom Cutouts. Delays due to UPS, R&L Carriers, or any other shippers are not our responsibility. Delays also caused by weather phenomenon or other acts of a God do not make us liable. No refunds will be issued due to shipping delays. Please keep this in mind when making time sensitive orders. Oversize items will be shipped via common carrier, and delivery will be 2 to 7 days and at least $125.
How do you send a picture? After you register for account. you can send click the photo upload link on your account page, or 3 other times in the checkout process, it is also found on your order confirmation page. Just click the link, and in the comment box include your name, phone number, size, and any other comments you may have.
What is the turn around time? If you select 7-10 business days production, production is typically 7-10 business days plus the shipping time. Shipping time is between 1-7 business days depending on your location. Production time starts when the order is complete. A complete order consists of: an order, the payment, and a photo that conforms to our guidelines on our Photo Tips page. If you need your item faster than this estimated time frame, or need it by a specific date, you must use our rush production option and a shipping method other than ground shipping. 7-10 business days are only a estimation of our average production times. At times, production volume may be high and they’re may be delays in the production of your item(s). We are not responsible for delays to the production or your item(s) due to: mechanical failure, raw material shortage, or delays caused by shipping. We do not guarantee any production time unless the customer has purchased the rush production option. The ground shipping method is not a guaranteed shipping method offered by UPS. This means UPS may estimate shipping to take 2 days from NYC to Washington D.C. If it takes 2 weeks to get there, it is still considered a successful ground shipment. Next day air, 2 day, and 3 day select are the only domestic shipping options guaranteed by UPS. With this guarantee, only the shipping costs are refundable in the event of a delay, not the value of the time sensitive item. With this explained, please plan your order accordingly.
What is a Rush do if i add it to my order? If you select Rush my Order production is 48 hours, Plus Shipping
What if i get a pop up that says there may be unsecure items/ is the site secure? If at any time you get a pop up window that says there are secure and unsecure items on page that is our external web statistics program, we assure you the site is secure, we just use it to see which pages get the most traffic.
How long does it take to make my Cutout? Orders of 12 items or less typically take 7 to 10 business days for production and 1-5 business days for shipping, depending on distance and cutout size and shape. These time-frames are not set in stone, and depend on the season and current workload. Keep this in mind when ordering. Rush service is available. Larger orders will be given estimated time-frame's based on current orders and workload.
What size should i choose? If you want 1:1 life size, you will need to know the persons height. Then order based on their height. If you want a smaller size, order whichever size you desire. please keep in mind that if you tell us 6ft tall and the persons arms are above their head, we still make the cutout 6 ft from topmost part (in this cast their hand) to toe
Do you make.... cutouts? We do offer stock cutouts on our sister websites, WallJungle.com and StockCutouts.com. If you do not see something there that we do not offer, please ask us. It may be on the list to be added soon.
How much is it to find a photo for me? There is a $50 photo finder fee per image for any artwork that we must provide. Some art may cost more then this, and additional costs will be discussed with customer prior to securing the art.
Do you fix photos? Standard photo repair is included in price. An additional art time fee of $50 per half hour applies to remove people that are touching in an image, or for extensive photo repair.
I need my cutout ASAP, can you hurry? For faster production, there is an optional $50 rush fee for the initial item, and 15% for each additional item. Rush orders placed before noon, will ship same day, with the customers chosen shipping method. Rush orders placed after noon, EST., will be processed the following business day.
Do i have to pay for 2 cutouts if there are 2 people in a photo? There is a $40 fee for the first person added in large and medium cutouts, $25 fee for the first person added in Table-Me, and Minnie-Me cutouts, and 15% for each additional person for all sizes.
I do not want the other person from my photo in my cutout? An additional art time fee of $50 per half hour applies to remove people that are touching in an image that cannot be removed by cutting them away.
Well, can you make a cutout of.... from my photo? We will make any cutout from YOUR photo. If you are asking about making a cutout of a professional athlete or star, you must provide a photo that you own. If you do not own the photo, you assume all copyright laws. You may also need to have permission to use their likeness. This permission needs to be in writing.
What is a cutout made of? Generally cutouts are produced on a semi gloss cardboard sheet cut to your image. You can also have your cutout made out of the following: Foam Core, Gator foam, Corrugated Plastic, or Foamed PVC Plastic ON REQUEST. Please contact us for additional pricing.
How do i send you my photo? Digital photos that conform to the tips on the photo tips page, can be put in our drop box or can be emailed to info@lifesizecustomcutouts.com. Hard copies, CDs and DVDs can be snail mailed or dropped off at: Life Size Custom Cutouts.com, 81 Waller Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa 18702.
Will i get my photo back? Please include a self addressed stamped envelope or return shipping label if you want your photo back. Photos or discs will NOT be returned unless this is done.
How can i get a photo of my cutout on your website? By purchasing our products, you agree to allow the use of a photo of your cutout to be used on our site for demonstration purposes only. If you do not wish to have this image displayed, written refusal of this privilege must be sent to us either in hardcopy letter format, or an email. You can also send us a photo of your cutout in action.
My cutout edges aren't perfect and smooth, is it defective? All cutouts are computer cut. Minor defects such as small bubbles, non-perfect cuts, or rough edges are acceptable and none of these issues will warrant a refunded.
How long do these things last? The printed image has an average UV resistance of 3 years, but direct sunlight will damage the image over extended exposure. Under room temperature (60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit) and normal humidity, the cutout will last indefinitely. Under harsh conditions, high humidity and or heat, the image may bubble, or the board may come apart. Cardboard, Foam board and Gator foam Cutouts are NOT all weather, and we assume no responsibility for your use of the cutout. Corrugated Plastic & Foamed PVC cutouts are weatherproof, but we are not responsible for your mounting methods.
What payment methods do you accept? Purchases can be made by Credit Cards, Checks, and Cash (in person only). A minimal deposit of 50% or credit card number is required before work will commence.
Why is there a charge from Wet Paint T-Shirts on my card? All charges to credit cards will show up as Wet Paint T-Shirts Inc. and will be processed online through Pay pal or by phone. There will be a $25 service charge for any disputed charges, this is your warning.
I changed my mind, i don't want a cutout, can i cancel my order? If customers approves a proof, job, or order either verbally, in writing, or by email, this starts a binding contract. Orders that are canceled before work has commenced will not receive any charges and will get a full refund. All canceled orders once work has started, will be charged a fee of 15% the cost of the order. Once an order has been completed and has shipped you are stuck with it. There are no returns or refunds on any custom items.
Can you use my shipping account with...? Shipping is through UPS or through R&L carriers. Personal or corporate shipping accounts cannot be used.
How is a cutout shipped? Cutouts are delivered folded in one flat package, unless multiple items are ordered. They are packaged and shipped in a wood and cardboard container. Shipping prices shown are for ground or oversized air shipping. Any item exceeding 165 inches in girth may be shipped via common carrier and charged at least $125 for shipping.
How does the cutout stand? Cutouts come with a detachable easel. Talkie units are attached in the least conspicuous location
Why is my arm folded or cut off? Some cutouts that have arms extended, or other appendages not near the body, may need to be folded or made detachable for safe shipping sake.
My cutout looks a little blurry, what happened? As with all large format digital prints, cutouts should look good from 5 ft away. The closer you get, you may see a pixilated image, the actual dots that make up the image. Your cutout looks the same as your image, just BIGGER. We are not responsible for poor quality photos, or files. Some files cannot be blown up past a certain size, in this case you will be notified by us, and an alternate arrangement will be made. Color Proofs will not be sent unless requested by the customer.
Do you ship overseas? Yes, but additional charges apply, Please call or email first before ordering.
Why wont you make my cutout? All custom requests and jobs will be accepted at our discretion.
What do you do with my information? Any acquired personal information is never sold.
