Cardboard cutout of Hernando de Soto. De Soto was a conquistador and Spanish explorer who went on expeditions in the Yucatan Peninsula and in Nicaragua. He along with Francisco Pizarro conquered the Inca Empire in Peru. He is most well known for commanding the first European expedition deep into territory that would later be called the United States throughout the Southeastern region. Many areas in the US are named after him and the back of a 500 dollar Federal Reserve Note features him discovering Mississippi. Dimensions are 72x27 inches.
